Celebrating Women in Engineering at Rayburn

At Rayburn Electric Cooperative, we believe that Excellence and Innovation come to life through the dedication of our people. Two outstanding examples are our very own Katherine Garcia and Christina Adcock — women who help shape innovative solutions that directly benefit our Members.

Katherine Garcia, Senior Systems Engineer at Rayburn, recently earned her Professional Engineers License (PE) — an achievement attained by fewer than 20% of engineers nationwide. It’s a testament to her commitment to continually learn and improve upon her craft.

Meanwhile, Christina Adcock has stepped into her new role as Manager of Engineering Automation – a well-earned promotion that highlights her steady initiative and her dedication to establishing this new department as a vital piece of Rayburn’s operations.

Their accomplishments not only drive Rayburn’s mission forward but also serve as an inspiration for young women who seek careers in engineering. We are so proud to celebrate Katherine and Christina — and Rayburn remains dedicated to building a workplace that challenges the status quo, and where Innovation and Excellence thrive.
